Background: Naomi was born to Luann and Joel Sosa on a sunny day in May, and has been since nicknamed “Mayflower” by her loved ones. She had a happy childhood, and was close with her younger sister, Marcie. Both girls were intelligent, and Naomi was always at the head of her class. She graduated salutatorian, and was accepted into Princeton University as a law student. But midway through her freshman year, Marcie had fallen into a deep depression. She was very secretive and seemed to “spook easily.” She withdrew from her family and friends, and within months, had commit suicide. Naomi was devastated, convinced that if she had been there, she could have “fixed” her sister. She became preoccupied with psychology, trying to research for a reason. After a year of nearly failing her studies, Naomi switched to a Psychology major in order to right the wrongs that she couldn’t fix before. She became absorbed, excelling in her classes and joining a research team in her sophomore year.

After securing her undergraduate from Princeton, she pursued graduate studies at Yale, where she first met Jonathan Graves. The young couple became close and Naomi often came to him when she worried about her studies, or the patients she was tending to at her Internship at a local Institution, Shady Groove. Shortly before securing her doctorate degree, Naomi gave birth to her daughter, Colleen. Her professors had marveled at how, even in the last week of her pregnancy, Naomi did not miss a class. She completed independent research in the following month, and was able to walk with her class on time.

Now married and nursing an infant, Naomi took a year off to dedicate to her baby. Shortly after Colleen’s first birthday, she hired a nanny and returned to Shady Groove Institution as an admissions consultant. The hospital, however, was low on funds, and eventually was forced to shut down. Naomi was not the least pleased. She rallied for the support of her friends in the psychology department and begged for government funding. Her parents donated gracious advancements in the name of their late daughter. Naomi was soon able to reopen the hospital under a new name: “Cherry Hollow Institution,” which gradually took off due to Naomi’s dedicated, sometimes obsessive, work ethic.


Personality: Naomi considers herself to have a bright disposition. Some would simply say that she is a hard worker, and others will say that she runs herself into the ground. She often works overtime, fueled by her desire to “fix the unfixable.” She has a wide and strange variety of glasses that she has collected over the years, which she secretly believes to make her look more intelligent. She is also fond of scarves and floral print blouses. Her greatest joys in life are her husband and daughter. Though she offers a warm smile, her small frame is dwarfed by the size of her desk, often giving a slightly comical effect.
